If you’d like to make a blanket for a child entering a safe home supported by Kaleb House, these simple guidelines will help ensure each one is soft, durable, and ready to be loved well.

Durable and easy to care for
Something a child can truly call their own
Perfection isn’t the goal—care is.

Please use materials that are:
Soft to the touch
Machine washable and dryable
Durable for everyday use
Great options include:
Acrylic or acrylic blends
Chenille or blanket yarns
Please avoid:
Scratchy or rough yarns
Animal fibers that may cause allergies or require special care
If it’s soft, washable, and made with care—it’s a great choice.
